The AVSTS are pleased to introduce their programme for the 2018 spring meeting to be held at the ICC, Birmingham on 4th April. The traditional ‘What’s new and hot’ theme for this meeting will include a review of common micturition disorders and the recent consensus statement on urolithiasis from Dr Joseph Bartges, an update on the clinical experiences from the cardiac bypass programme at the Royal Veterinary College from Prof Dan Brockman and team, along with a summary of the current evidence base relating to the surgical management of congenital portosystemic shunts from Dr Vicky Lipscomb. There will also be an update on new studies running in association with the AVSTS research cooperative, including a call for cases, and a selection of clinical research abstracts will be presented.
