About the event

The AVSTS are pleased to introduce their programme for the 2019 spring meeting to be held at the ICC, Birmingham on 3rd April. This year we have an excellent variety of topics following the traditional ‘What’s new and hot’ theme, including Ronan Doyle and Simon Tappin who will be giving talks on surgical treatment and embolisation of liver tumours, Jonathan Bray who will be discussing endoprosthetics for tumour patients, and Janet McClaran will be talking about laparoscopic GI surgery. A selection of clinical research abstracts will also be presented, along with presentation of the Peter Holt award. The day should prove very informative to anyone with an interest in soft tissue surgery, GPs and specialists alike. We look forward to seeing you there.
